Mr Moore's News Update
Dear Parents and Carers,
I would like to thank those of you who provided your thoughts and views in our recent parental survey. I can't stress enough how important your feedback is in allowing me insight into challenges faced, frustrations and also the opportunity to share positives and praise with staff too.
Having worked through the feedback provided, it is helping me to shape our next steps. In addition to this, I have found the opportunity to meet with parents extremely beneficial. It has allowed me to convey our vision for teaching and learning alongside how we want to empower every child to thrive, grow and love their time with us. Equally – and most importantly – these meetings provide a platform for parents to openly share their views, thoughts and feelings. This week’s discussions have enabled me to better understand some deep-rooted challenges, clarify potential misconceptions and begin to co-construct strategies so that we can work together to enthuse, engage and support all children collaboratively.
As a result, we will be introducing ‘Meet the Principal’ sessions next term. These informal group meetings will provide further opportunities for parents to come in, share feedback and engage in open discussion with me directly.
To ensure these sessions remain meaningful and allow everyone the opportunity to contribute, numbers will be limited. We are intentionally keeping the groups small so that conversations can be open, focused and genuinely collaborative, rather than becoming too large to allow all voices to be heard.
Further details about the various dates available and how to book a place will be shared shortly.
Yours sincerely,
Mr. Moore

Lucy had her martial arts grading last weekend where she was successfully awarded her yellow striped belt! All of your hard work practicing has paid off. We are so proud of you Lucy - keep going!
A massive well done to the Girls Football Team. On Thursday of this week they played a match at home. They showed great determination and strength to play against a very hard team. They tackled well, played in their positions and showed they have come on so much as a team since their last match. They showed great sportsmanship all the way through. They’re growing in confidence every game. Well done to the girls!
#WakeUpWednesday is a campaign by the National Online Safety organisation. It's designed to help parents and carers stay informed about the latest online trends and platforms that their children might be using.
Every Wednesday, a new guide or resource is released, offering simple tips and advice on how to keep children safe online. These guides cover a range of topics, from popular apps and games to general online safety issues like cyberbullying and privacy. The goal is to start a conversation between adults and children about staying safe in the digital world.
We will upload these guides/resources here every week.
