Mrs. Owles, Spanish IV Original Children's Book
Students wrote and illustrated a children's book entirely in Spanish. Requirements included a moral lesson to the story and use of targeted vocabulary from previous lessons. Students had several options with regard to illustrations and could make hard copy or digital books. Shared here is a presentation by Madi Evans as she reads her story about a thoughtful bunny who wanted to surprise her mother by baking a birthday cake.
Mr. Snyder, Modern American History Civil War Battle Slides
Students combined text and images to define key points and facts about Civil War battles using Google Slides. Students needed to consider the information conveyed through images as well as the technical design aspects of slide presentations to create a single slide with all assigned material for each battle.
