Students, volunteers, and staff had an unforgettable day at Mt. Olympus, filled with laughter, excitement, and nonstop fun. With phones safely tucked, away and bags to the side, we fully enjoyed the rides and lived in the moment, everyone was able to truly connect and be present with one another. From thrilling coasters to go karts and everything in between, the energy was high and the smiles never faded. While we may not have captured photos or videos of the day, trust and believe—it was an amazing experience that left lasting memories in everyone's hearts.
Sometimes the best moments are the ones lived, not recorded.
At Mt. Olympus Theme Park, students took on the thrilling Hades roller coaster, a ride known for its intense drops and underground tunnels. As the coaster took off, excitement filled the air—some students screamed in fear while others couldn’t stop laughing. A few even shed tears from the adrenaline rush, but that didn’t stop them. After the first ride, many eagerly ran back to the line, determined to ride it again and again. Whether it was their first coaster or their tenth, the Hades experience became a favorite memory, filled with both nerves and nonstop fun.
Students continued riding all the roller coasters at Mt. Olympus, pairing up with staff, volunteers, or their best friends to share the excitement. Each ride brought a new burst of adrenaline, and the thrill never seemed to fade. Whether it was their first time or their fifth, they kept coming back for more—screaming, laughing, and cheering each other on. The energy was contagious as groups rushed from one coaster to the next, creating unforgettable memories and strengthening bonds with every loop, drop, and twist.
Groups took turns racing around the Trojan Horse go-kart track, where the excitement of speed met nonstop fun. Laughter and cheers filled the air as students, volunteers, and staff zoomed past each other, navigating sharp turns and straightaways with determination and joy. Students bravely took on the Mt. Olympus Swing, a towering ride that soared high above the park and offered breathtaking views with every swing. As they were lifted into the air, excitement and nervous energy buzzed through the group. Some held on tight with wide eyes, while others threw their hands up, laughing and shouting as the swing soared back and forth. The wind rushed past them, adding to the thrill of the moment. For many, it was a mix of fear and fun—but by the end, most students were grinning ear to ear, proud of themselves for taking the leap and loving every second of the ride.
Overall, the trip to Mt. Olympus was an unforgettable day filled with laughter, thrills, and togetherness. Students, staff, and volunteers spent the day experiencing ride after ride—some even more than once or twice—chasing that adrenaline rush and sharing every moment with friends old and new. From towering roller coasters to fast-paced go-karts and soaring swings, each attraction brought smiles, excitement, and memories that will last long after the day ended. Being together made it all the more special, turning an ordinary summer day into a truly fun and meaningful adventure for everyone.
