GIRLS DAY!
We made our way to Pollock Pool in Oshkosh on what began as a bright and cheerful late summer day. But as the skies shifted and rain and thunder rolled in, our plans took an unexpected turn. Rather than seeing it as a setback, we embraced the moment, treating the girls to ice cream and turning the storm into a spontaneous celebration. It was a simple yet powerful reminder that with a little creativity and care, even disrupted plans can become memorable moments of connection and joy.
Once our ice cream adventure came to a close, the rain subsided, and the sun returned with its warm embrace, as if rewarding our patience with a second chance at joy. We headed back to the pool, where laughter resumed and the girls soaked up a few more hours of aquatic fun, freedom, and togetherness. What began as a weather disruption turned into a day full of unexpected magic, resilience, and joyful connection.
It was a day filled with learning, bonding, and shared experiences under the sun.
