Revolve and Completed Profiles 2 Allison Martin • Nov 18, 2022
In this assignment we had to follow a video and Upload a screenshot/picture of the completed model. The objective was to learn how to use the tool to make models in a 3D website known as OnShape.
This also Connected to the overall unit because we first learned to read and gave examples about What Revolve is.
The steps that I did to complete this assignment was to make a sketch, lining out or using shapes to get everything I need for a similar sketch that is made in the video, then using Revolve on any part of my sketch.
Revolve- Revolve will spin the profile, around the axis line.
It will look different if you chose a different line on your sketch /
What I learned -
In this assignment including the other practice assignments. I learned to use the tools and features that they provided on the website. This assignment well prepared me for other assignments/projects in the future.

Geometric Constraints Quiz Group 3• Dec 8, 2022
This assignment is a Quiz about Geometric Constraints, having to answer questions that we learned about during this part of the unit. The first thing we did was to read every slide in a presentation to try to understand what Geometric Constraints is, including taking notes in my engineering notebook.
Geometric Constraints is when a sketch is being created or 3D parts. When you're using tools to create how you want your design to look, the tools make it easier for the design to look professionally made and have details.
its overall connection with the unit because we all had to review presentations and had to use these tools on onshape.
Although I learned a lot from this experience I still believe that I need more work on remembering the name of some of the tools. I feel that I should have studied more so I could have had a better grade.
Provides an equal allowable variation, larger and smaller Uses a plus/minus (±) symbol to specify the allowable variation Marking period- 3

Tolerance Quiz -Group 3 • Feb 16
In this quiz we took, it was to see what we have learned in this marking period. This is also a part of the unit because still using ONshape we had to learn about different Tolerance including having to read slides and articles Tolerance . After having knowledge of what Tolerance is we had to take a quiz to see if everyone fully understood.
Tolerance-A tolerance is an acceptable amount of dimensional variation that will still allow an object to function correctly.
Limit Dimension- Provide an upper limit and lower limit for the dimension. Any size between or equal to the upper limit and/or lower limit is allowed
0.275 higher
0.274 lower
Bilateral Tolerance- Provides an equal allowable variation, larger and smaller. Uses a plus/minus (±) symbol to specify the allowable variation.
Unilateral Tolerance- Provides an allowable variation in only one direction (either larger or smaller). Uses separate plus (+) and minus (–) signs.
The only problem I had with this quiz was not knowing that I had to pick more than one answer. I got all of it right. It's just that I needed to add another answer which lowered my grade. if i had to improve on this quiz i would try to read it more carefully.
