Marking Period 3
This objective of this assignment was to create an essay about Macbeth. I chose to write about how magic affects logic in the play.
Glow: I did well on the introduction. I liked the way I started to describe the experience of reading the book.
Grow: I could work on my conclusion because I didn't think I added enough sentences of closing information. I could also work on my punctuation.
This assignment was completed as a part of our unit about a book written by Shakespeare called Macbeth.
Glow: I did well on answering all of the questions.
Grow: I could work on elaborating my answers since I did not explain some of my answers.
Marking Period 2
This assignment was completed as a poster, featuring a description. This was a group project. In this assignment, we have to choose a character from the play and include some characteristics about him/her.
Glow: I did well on being a good cooperator and contributing to the work.
Grow: I could work on elaborating the information and making the poster more eye-appealing.
This assignment was completed as an essay of a "A Raisin In the Sun" character. This was a partner project. I had to to write an essay about a chosen character. This might be similar to the One pager project since I chose the same character, Beneatha.
Glow: I did well on giving in introduction, including who Beneatha is and what she does in the play.
Grow: I could work on elaborating the information and providing more context and grammar.
Marking Period 1
This assignment was completed as an essay of one of the different themes used in "A Raisin In the Sun". This was a partner project. Me and my partner had to write about the one of the themes is used the "A Raisin In the Sun". Hansberry uses money to demonstrate the journey of a poor family, and shows how hardworking they can achieve their hard work money.
Glow: I did well on being a good cooperator and contributing to the work.
Grow: I could work on elaborating the information and providing more context and grammar.
A Raisin In the Sun: Persuasive Writing Task: Mr. Lindner's Offer
This assignment was about an opinionated decision that revolves around Mr. Lindner's offer. I was asked if i believe the Younger family should move forward with the move or should they accept Mr. Lindner’s offer and stay in their apartment?
