Cindy Rojas Perez
I am in my senior year of high school at STEM Innovation Academy of the Oranges. As a student I have able to gain skills in time management, collaboration skills, and organizational skills. I have become knowledgeable on several different subjects including forensics, calculus, history, finance, and many more.
Outside of school I enjoy exploring different cultures specifically Korean culture. I devote my free time to learning the Korean language. I balance many hobbies including music learning, language learning, and painting.
I participated in various clubs and community service opportunities during my high school years. Some of my extracurricular I have engaged in include NJIT's Real World Connection program, Women in Transportation (Transportation You), Voices in Harmony, etc.
During the summer of 2022 I participated in Essex County's Summer Youth Program where I was an office intern in two locations. These locations included a government office and a nonprofit organization. I was trained in reception, data analyze, excel programs, and meeting etiquette.
Throughout all of my high school years I have received honor roll, high honor, and principle's honor roll.
I am punctual and determine when it comes to my work. I work well on both independent and collaboration assigned work.
I wish to make it to college and pursue a career in medicine.
