• The task was to create a professional resume highlighting education background, work experience, key skills, and contact information. 

• The objective of the assignment was learn how to write a resume and develop a resume that can be used for college or job interviews and applications.

• Although the unit heavily involves learning about the financial world it also touches on employability skills. This assignment specifically relates to employability. As we start applying for college and looking for jobs now or in the future it is important to know how to market ourselves to employers and colleges. 

• By completing the assignment I learned how a resume should be set up and what is relevant for showcasing. 

Reflection

• The assignment showcases my ability to concisely write all relevant experiences colleges and employers need to know about. 

• The assignment represents important themes in the course as it relates to real world skills such as being able to professionally present ourselves to businesses and industries. 

• I appreciated the assignment because I was able to update the resume I already had and make it more eye catching. 

• The assignment prepares us not only for college interviews and applications but it sets us up for future job interviews. As we continue to go on throughout college we will need to find a place to practice our profession making a resume is an important skill need for employers to decide whether or not to give us a job.
