Indigenous Students Today
A parent visits his son's class to speak with the student teacher and the associate teacher about their recent First Nations unit. The parent raises some issues related to culture and inclusivity. The student teacher and associate teacher contemplate how to address the issues raised and make learning more meaningful and culturally responsive for all their students.
By engaging in the analysis of this Ted-Viv vignette, teacher candidates will:
