Battle of the Sexes
A student teacher observes her associate teacher. A trivia contest pitting boys against girls is used as a form of review for the upcoming test. While students are very animated, the student teacher has concerns about the activity. As she looks around the room, her attention is drawn to other images that could be read as reinforcing gender stereotypes or promoting hegemonic masculinity. When her associate teacher asks for her thoughts, she ponders how to respond.
