First....breathe

Take a few moments to focus on your breath. Inhale and Exhale along with the graphic to the left. Slow your breath to match the pace. Repeat 3-5 times.

Focusing on your breath when you are upset does two things:

  1. It gives you a break to clear your thoughts

  2. It provides much needed oxygen to your brain
