The PAWS Center (Positive Academic & Well-Being Support) is an integral part of Wiltsey Middle School. We're a central hub for all your School Counseling needs, community resources and safety! In the PAWS Center you can find our School Counselor, Outreach Consultant, Campus Safety Officer and Student Mentors.
Our School Counselor, Mr. Puebla, oversees Wiltsey’s School Counseling program, which is designed to assist students during the sixth through eighth grade transitional period. A School Counselor plays an integral part in the education of all students by focusing on academic, personal/social and career developmental tasks so they achieve success in school and are prepared to lead fulfilling lives as responsible members of society.
Our Outreach Consultant, Ms. Patterson, assists our students and families by connecting them with the right resources and support when in need, including financial/food/utilities/rent/counseling/insurance assistance. She will also assist families and students when there is academic struggles by arranging special meetings called SST's to help problem solve and get students on the right track.

Please remember that when you speak to your school counselor, its kept confidential so that you feel safe to speak freely. While it is important that a student’s conversations with a school counselor be kept confidential, please remember that confidentiality does have its limitations.

Do you have access to your academic grades? Parents/Guardians and Students each have access to academic grades and attendance thorugh Q Connect. Download the apps or visit online for access.

Stay connected! Make sure you are registered with PARENT SQUARE. Parent Square is used as our main communication tool. You can also message staff through this portal. Register using the email you provided on your students registration form.

Students can stay connected and informed using Student Square. Students can access Student Square through their Clever Portal and via the APP. All students must first register using their OMSD email.
