The PAWS Center (Positive Academic & Well-Being Support) is an integral part of Wiltsey Middle School. We're a central hub for all your School Counseling needs, community resources and safety! In the PAWS Center you can find our School Counselor, Outreach Consultant, Campus Safety Officer and Student Mentor.
Our School Counselor, Mr. Puebla, oversees Wiltsey’s School Counseling program, which is designed to assist students during their middle school transitional period. A School Counselor plays an integral part in the education of all students by focusing on academic, personal/social and career developmental tasks so they achieve success in school and are prepared to lead fulfilling lives as responsible members of society.
Our Counselor-Outreach Consultant and Outreach Assistant assist our students and families by connecting them with the right resources and support when in need, including financial/food/utilities/rent/counseling/insurance assistance. They will also assist families and students when there is academic struggles by arranging special meetings called SST's to help problem solve and get students on the right track.
On this website you will find a number of resources and ways to connect.
