Overview of Classen High School of Advanced Studies
Classen School of Advanced Studies High School at Northeast is ranked first in Oklahoma. Students have the opportunity to take International Baccalaureate, Middle Years Programme, Visual Performing Arts Major Program, Advanced Placement, Honors, coursework and exams. The IB participation rate at the Classen School of Advanced Studies is 31%. The total minority enrollment is 70%. Classen SAS is 1 of 10 high schools in the Oklahoma City Public Schools.
Career Education
Through different programs at CSAS students are allowed to incorporate work experience into their academic plans. Through our career technology programs students can participate in internships and work study experiences in the areas of Visual Arts and Technology.
Concurrent Enrollment
Eligible juniors and seniors can take concurrent courses with local colleges and universities to receive college credit while enrolled at Classen SAS.
Eligible freshmen and sophomores can participate in Early Start concurrent courses with local colleges and universities to receive college credit while enrolled at Classen SAS. All courses are provided in person on Classen's school campus during normal school hours.
