Jamboards

Jamboards are an interactive whiteboard tool from Google. It has less options than SmartNotebook.

Ways you can use Jamboard:

  • use it for word building activities

  • use it for place value placemats where students have to build the number using base tens

  • equation practice using the pens and premade equations

  • a doodle space during a fun Google Meet

  • a space to organize how the day is going to go - virtually or together in class

  • to check for comprehension using pictures from a story- have students put the story in order

  • a whole class check in - attendance, emotional check in

  • labelling diagrams as a whole class

  • small group Guided Math lessons

  • small group phonics/phonemic awareness check ins
