Student avatars are the characters you see beside the student's name. There are many ways that you can use these avatars in your classroom.
- change them for the seasons or school events (i.e. We Read, seasons, Valentine's Day)
- student gets a certain number of points (i.e. every 10) they can change it
- student can level up a Pokemon based off of a number of points reached for each level.
- students can have it changed for their birthday (there are special birthday avatars
- students can have a default egg avatars and once they reach a certain number of points (i.e. 30) then their egg hatches and they see what avatar they get the next day (Teacher changes it when they reach it).
- student of the day/week gets to change it
- students on IPPs as a behaviour incentive (i.e. student has attended class for a whole week, student has had 2 good days) for the reward at the end of a behaviour chart and can pick a new avatar
- upload student photos and assign them to their name
- themed to a unit to hook students in (i.e. community helpers, letter that students are studying)

On the top right of your screen click Options, then Edit class.
A class list should pop up.
Click on the student name you would like to change the avatar for.
The student's name should pop up.
Click on the picture that appears.
On the blue drop down box (lettering), click on it. There is the list of student avatars that can be chosen from. If you can't find one you like, feel free to create a new set and upload them.
Click on the smaller picture. This will bring it up on the left.
Then on the bottom right hand corner, click Save.
If you don't click Save, you have to repeat the above steps.
