Join the NOMA (Northern Ontario Mathematics Association) chapter of OAME on Saturday, September 27 at Laurentian University in Sudbury for their annual educator mini-conference! Hosted in partnership with Code to Learn, Dr. Lisa Anne Floyd will be facilitating an engaging day of exploring coding in the classroom. The mini-conference is open to all teachers, with a discount for OAME members and pre-service teachers. More details coming soon!

Following on the success of the explorAItion! virtual conference this spring, explorAItion! 2.0 returns in an extended format for the 2025-26 school year. The collaborative virtual conferences explore the use of Artificial Intelligence in Ontario Education.
This year, the exporAItion! 2.0 conference series will run from September 2025 through April 2026 on a variety of evenings.
Each evening will offer a selection of 30- and 60-minute workshops between 7 – 9 pm. Workshops will be recorded so that registrants can access the entire proceedings during and following the explorAItion! 2.0 series.
The explorAItion! 2.0 conference is a collaborative effort of the member associations of the Ontario Curriculum Forum, of which OAME is a proud member.

In the spirit of support for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) teachers, and after our wonderful conference this past May, we'd like to share information about the Science Teachers' Association of Ontario (STAO) conference coming up this fall.
