Try this linked activity with chatOAME: Using AI to Deconstruct Expectations. This will lead you (and the AI) into a deep dive on one (or more) of your course's expectations, with a lens on Ontario's unique approach to mathematics teaching and assessment, along with UDL, differentiation, technology approaches and FNMI perspectives.
chatOAME is the AI for OAME members that focuses on Ontario Mathematics, powered by collective wisdom of OAME. You can talk to chatOAME (under MEMBER LINKS on the OAME website) about anything in mathematics or mathematics education using the best AI engine, free with your membership.

Check out David Petro's weekly post "This Week in Math" at https://ontariomath.blogspot.com/ -- David collects interesting math content from around the world and each week writes about it and shares the links, videos, documents and images. A great way to keep up with what's happening without having to stay active on social media.
David is OAME's current Vice President but that isn't a conflict of interest when it comes to math! :)
Did you catch David Costello's article in the June'25 Gazette? You've got a few free hours between now and September to get your mind thinking about problem solving as his article Meaning Making in The Classroom: Going Deeper When Teaching About Problem Solving. David reminds us about some of the heavy lifting both teachers and students have to do when faced with authentic problem solving.
Pamela Brittain also shares what's happening at the Fields Institute in the latest issue of the Gazette -- it's amazing to have a world-famous mathematics institute in Ontario; it's such a valuable resource to have.
You can catch all of OAME's articles by logging into the OAME website at www.oame.on.ca and clicking on PUBLICATIONS-->Gazette on the left hand menu.
The Ontario College of Teachers' Library will send you books in the mail with a paid return envelope!
But -- you don't need to drive into Toronto or worry about CanadaPost's contract talks!
Because the Library has a large and growing collection of ebooks (some new titles in the image!) that you can borrow and read on your device. Get a few books read before school starts!
Log in to the OCT website at www.oct.ca and click on MEMBER-->Library to explore the collection. Or email library@oct.ca for assistance.
