Screen Sharing from a Mobile Device

Use the steps below to share video from your computer or website using the Screen Share tool in the Zoom application. For visual instructions, click on the slide presentation to the right. (If you don't have the Zoom desktop application on your computer, download it from you mobile app store first).

1. Open the Zoom application on your device. Click "Sign In".

2. In the next window, do not enter your email address and password! Click “Sign in with SSO.”

3. Enter “nyu” in the company domain field. Then click "Continue".

4. In the next window, log into your NYU account with your netID and password.

5. In the next window, follow the instructions for multi-factor authentication.

6. After completing the authentication step, the Zoom application should be open on your device.

7. Click the Share Screen button.

8. You will then be prompted to enter a Sharing Key.

9. The sharing key can be located by selecting the Presentation icon on the Zoom control panel, then selecting the Desktop Computer option.

10. Entering the key into your Zoom application should begin the screen share process.

11. Note: you can also enter the sharing key that appears on the room tv monitor/screen.
