Send an email to appleprofessionallearning@apple.com to request a virtual coaching session.
To request a removal of an iPad activation lock, or any other iPad issue, send an email to the AppleCare acnycdoe@group.apple.com and provide the following information: Serial number, School/department name & address, Customer name & phone number. Brief description of the issue
Call AppleCare Support for the NYCDOE at 1-800-919-2775. When prompted, enter the PIN: 692363 (NYCDOE)
To request for an app to be installed on DOE loaner iPads (COVID-19), email remotelearning@schools.nyc.gov include “iPad App” on the subject line.
Sign into Zscaler
To ensure your child is using the internet with all the safety the DOE requires to protect your child. You will need to sign into the content filter application, Zscaler. Follow these directions, or see the instructions on our Zscaler page:
Return to the main screen.
Tap the Zscaler icon.
Once Zscaler is open (you don’t need to sign in), wait for the “Service Status” to say “ON”.
Close Zscaler.
That is it. You can use the iPad normally now.
