Have a GSuite Domain, but never put your students in it? Share and copy a Class to @schools.nyc.gov for use with @nycstudent.net accounts
Add your schools.nyc.gov account as a teacher
Go to your schools.nyc.gov Email and click Join when the email is received to join the class
In Classroom click the 3 dots and select Copy to copy the class.
Re-add your students from the STARS report
The DOE has created a unified workspace solution that allows remote NYCDOE staff to access some DOE applications from one single location on the internet. No VPN access is required. However, you can only access the portal from outside the DOE network.
You will be able to access apps such as ATS, STARS Admin, OORS, Office 365, Cybershift, and more.

Now that iPads are beginning to arrive in the hands of students, in addition to getting support from the help desk, staff can help students connect by reaching out to families to support them with connectivity. Here are several things that staff can do

Step 1. Sign in with your school’s Microsoft or Google account on any device at suite.smarttech.com.
Step 2. Select any SMART Notebook lesson from the lesson library.
Step 3. Start teaching immediately, or connect student devices to the lesson.
