Hello and Welcome to Team Roar!

I am thrilled to be starting my seventh year as a 7th Grade Science and Language Arts teacher at Northwestern Lehigh! As a former Northwestern Lehigh Middle School student and 2014 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, getting to teach in the same community where I grew up makes being part of the Tiger family extra special.

One of my favorite things about middle school is that we are all still learning and growing! This year, we’ll ask questions, explore new ideas, challenge ourselves, make mistakes, celebrate successes, and hopefully have a lot of fun along the way. I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together!

Please never hesitate to reach out with questions, concerns, celebrations, or joys throughout the year. I truly believe that students, families, and teachers are a team, and I’m looking forward to getting to know you and making this an AMAZING year!

I earned my undergraduate degree from Misericordia University in Dallas, Pennsylvania. Go Cougars!

After college, I moved to Virginia, where I taught 6th grade science for two years. This is now my ninth year of teaching!

I love reading, hiking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and playing with Capo, my energetic pup!

I love attending student events, so please invite me to yours!

I’ve completed a few half marathons and will probably be training for another one at some point this year.

I have a younger brother who is a mechanical engineer and already has a few patents...how cool is that?! I guess science runs in the family!

I earned my Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology from Lehigh University and am currently working toward my PhD in Teaching, Learning, and Technology.

I went skydiving a few years ago...can you identify the clouds I’m diving into in the picture below?
