This year we will be working and learning together in order to improve and grow in all aspects of Language Arts. Language Arts is made up of many different topics (Reading, Writing, Grammar and so many more) and we will be working on all of them!
You can look forward to reading many interesting stories, writing and responding to variety of different texts and prompts, expanding your vocabulary, and growing in your ability to understand and analyze various types of texts.
As you are no longer a "newbie" to the middle school, we as a school have some high expectations that students must meet in order to be successful. One of those is responsibility. This includes bringing all materials to class every day. For Language Arts, students will need the following:

Pocket Folder (used for Language Arts only)
Pencil(s) or Pen(s)
Independent Reading Book
Your independent reading book (from home or the library) should come with you to ALL classes.
