This year we’ll explore life science, the study of living things and how they work. Students will learn how scientists ask questions and investigate the world, discover how cells and body systems keep us alive, see how traits are passed down through genetics, and explore how species and ecosystems change over time.
Along the way, students will work like scientists by designing investigations, analyzing data, and using evidence to support their ideas. They will also practice important skills such as problem solving, collaboration, and critical thinking. Through hands-on labs, activities, and discussions, students will connect science to real life and develop a deeper understanding of the living world.
