The graduation ceremony is designed to honor and recognize graduating seniors in a dignified manner. The Secondary Student Activities Department determines the schedule of ceremonies for all CCSD high schools, contracts with venues, and provides guidance and information to schools as they plan their ceremony.
Students must meet all of the graduation requirements to receive a diploma and participate in graduation ceremonies.

Graduates should consider the following:
Graduates must wear the cap and gown selected by their school and must adhere to the required proper attire worn under the cap and gown as defined by their school.
Standard protocol is that graduates will arrive at the venue carrying their gown.
Graduates are not allowed to carry any type of bag into the venue.
Graduates will pass through a metal detector upon entering the line up area at the venues.

Guests at graduation ceremonies should consider the following:
Everyone must have a ticket.
Each venue has a designated parking location. Your school will let you know the specific parking requirements for your venue.
Each venue has a bag policy. Check the bag policies online for specific venues for the most current information.
Strollers and balloons are not allowed in the venues.
Do not bring nuisance items: air horns, balloons, large signs or “Big Heads”.
Tailgating is not allowed at any venue.
Weapons are not allowed to be brought into any venue.
