SUMMER/PRESEASON PRACTICE ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

Nueva is committed to the safety of its students, faculty, staff and coaches, and has established the following COVID-19 protocols for summer athletic activities:

1. Students/Families need to continue to complete and present the health screening questionnaire on the my.nueva homepage prior to attending each practice.

2. Throughout the summer, Nueva is requiring students who are not fully vaccinated to continue to provide proof of a negative PCR COVID test each week if planning to participate in in-person activities. If fully vaccinated, no test is needed. To help the athletics team and the nurse stay on the same page with participants, families can easily inform Nueva of vaccination status/completion via the quick form linked below. If not vaccinated and still planning to take advantage of any optional opportunities, you can share negative test results from the week prior via email at nurse@nuevaschool.org. Nueva is not providing COVID testing during the summer, therefore testing will have to be done outside of Nueva. I have been informed that this will take effect next week. 3. While indoors, all students and coaches will need to continue to wear masks (over mouth and nose). When/If outdoors, fully vaccinated students/coaches will have opportunity to no longer mask. However, unvaccinated students/coaches will need to continue to mask outdoors.
