Ministry & Counsel plays many vital roles in the life of NPYM: What M&C Does
Position Opening!
North Pacific Yearly Meeting is looking for a new Youth Coordinator to plan and direct programs for children and youth during Annual Sessions. The Coordinator plans activities, hires and supervises staff, and works with the Youth Committee, Annual Session Planning Committee, parents, and volunteers to create Friendly experiences for the Youngest Friends (infant through elementary-school age) and Central Friends (middle-school age) during Annual Session. The Coordinator also provides administrative support for Junior Friends (high-school age) and their Advisors as needed during the year. Some travel is expected: attendance at Annual Session is required, and participation in Quarterly Meetings is encouraged, when possible, to maintain good relationships with children and families throughout NPYM.
This is a part-time, hourly position. The current pay rate is $29/hour, not to exceed 500 hours/year. The workload varies with time of year, with most effort needed from early Spring through Annual Session in July.
Interested? Here is the job description. For an application or more details, contact the clerk of Youth Committee at youth_committee_clerk@npym.org.
We encourage applications by December 1. The job is open until filled.
