POSITION: Daily Bulletin Editor

WORKS PRIMARILY WITH: General Arrangements Clerk
DEFINITION: Writes and distributes a daily newsletter for attenders at Annual Session.
TASKS & TIMELINE:
**April to Annual Session**
Confers with General Arrangements Clerk on arrangements for photo-copying and distribution, any work processing equipment needed, and deadlines for receiving bulletin material each night.
**During Annual Session**
Compiles a brief newsletter each evening for distribution the following morning. Material will come from the other Annual Session planners and attenders. You may expect a large volume of material. Some skill and judgment will be required to present important information in a brief and readable format.
EVALUATION: Prepare a report/evaluation for the Steering Committee files.
This report should include information useful to the next Daily Bulletin Editor (what worked, what didn't) and any changes you think should be made in the job or the job description.
If you received a file with material from the previous editor, sort through it, update the information, and add your report/evaluation (and any materials you think are needed).
Return the file to the General Arrangements Clerk before August 31.
EXPENSES AND TRAVEL: Reimbursement is provided for "office expense" (LD phone calls, postage and photocopy) and mileage expense for these responsibilities. A .5 fee waiver is available for AS. Submit reimbursement request with receipts to NPYM Treasurer.
