Dear Secondary School families,
Below you will find the updates for the week. Please take a moment or two to go through them -
HOUSES Competition - NOVA Corner Quest (results are in)
It was fantastic to see so many students taking part in the NOVA Corner Quest - exploring the campus and discovering hidden corners along the way! Congratulations to House Yellow for collecting the most points in the NOVA Corner Quest activity. Please let me know if you have any questions or notice anything that needs clarification.
The competition is heating up! Here’s a quick snapshot:
House White remains in the lead with 620 points.
Houses Yellow and Blue are tied for second place with 460 points each.
House Green is close behind with 440 points.
It’s shaping up to be an exciting race all the way to the finish!
What’s Next
On Wednesday, March 4, we will launch a new set of challenges for Secondary School students. March and April will also feature our House Kahoot quizzes - so get ready for some fun and friendly competition! March and April promise to be full of energy and House spirit.
Grade 10 IB Diploma Programme Information Session for Parents/Families
Our DP Coordinator, Ms. Viktorija Dimitrovska, held an information session for Grade 10 parents about the IB Diploma Programme pathways for their children. LINK to presentation document. Students are receiving their own counterpart sessions, through their Advisory classes, with visits by Ms. Dimitrovska.
LSS Assemblies
On Feb 25, 2026, 8.3 Advisory group (assisted by their teachers Ms. Amanda Leavitt and Ms. Azalea Morales Ivanova) led a grade-level wide assembly focused on choice - a group played board games, another engaged in outdoor activities, a third and forth focused on jewelry making and crocheting, and a fifth on braiding. Students had fun, and enjoyed each other’s company in a semi-structured set-up.
On Feb 27, 2026, the IT Department, led by Mr. Igor Ristovski, held an interactive session on Digital Citizenship for our grade 7 students. Focus was placed on how to make smart choices when navigating the social media landscape. Students were forthcoming with the challenges they see in their digital lives; Mr. Ristovski was equally forthcoming with data-driven information, and walk students through several case studies speaking to good vs. poor choices when having a digital presence.
