Dear Secondary School families,
As we steadfastly move into Semester 2, and a new month of learning, please take a moment to go through the upcoming updates:
HOUSES Competition - next challenge
For the next few weeks, our HOUSES’ teams will continue to the next challenge. Namely - the NOVA Corner Quest. Between February 2 and 16, students will receive a set of photographs, each a close-up “mystery snapshot”, depicting a different corner of the school. The mission: to identify the corner, go to the location, together with their Advisory teacher/s and peers, and take a group picture that clearly identifies the corner. In a nutshell, this challenge is part campus adventure, part team work know-how, part detective game. We wish all of the teams a fun-filled endeavor ahead!
Puzzling
As we continue to have fun with puzzles, please check out our latest collaborations. Should you be a family that enjoys puzzling, and are open to share a few of your sets with us, please reach out. Big thanks to Ms. Kay for sharing her family’s sets with us.
Fieldtrips
We are continuing with our field trips, as part of co-curricular learning activities for respective units of study. On that note, Grade 7 students will be visiting the Museum of the Holocaust, on Feb 11, 2026, with their Macedonian LL teachers. DP1 (Grade 11) students and their Macedonian A Literature teachers will also be enjoying a screening of Tamara Kotevska’s “The Tale of Silyan”, on Feb 4, 2026, at the Cinematheque.
