Dear Secondary School families,
Please take a moment to review the information shared below:
Semester 1 Report Cards
On Thursday, Jan 29, 2026 Semester 1 Report Cards will be released to students and families via the ALMA and Managebac platforms.
Grade 12 students will receive two reports - 1 on Alma and 1 on Managebac;
Grades 6-11 students will receive a report only on Managebac; their End-of-the-Year Report card will be provided on Alma, in June 2026.
What students and families receive through ALMA
This 2 page document is the traditional transcript-style document, which students submit towards their university applications. Our grading scale, for both the MYP and the DP, is 1-7, as the IBO states. Our School Profile also contains a conversion table, allowing families to see how this scale is interpreted and recognized. At the end of the year, all students (grades 6-12) will receive an End-of-the-Year Report Card on Alma as well (June 2026).
What students and parents receive through Managebac
This 2 page document provides a detailed description of the student’s overall experience within the respective program - MYP and/or DP. It is a semester report, meaning:
In the MYP, for each course, students receive a mark for each of the 4 criteria (scale 1-8), as well as a cumulative mark (scale 1-7); they also receive a commentary speaking to their progress/success in the course. If students cannot be assessed on some of the criteria, the commentary will address next steps. In such cases, students may receive an overall Incomplete or in some cases, N/A. Teachers will reach out to students/families and speak to the remedial work and its timeframe.
In the DP, for each course, students receive an overall mark (scale 1-7), together with a commentary speaking to their progress, as well as outlining next steps. In terms of CORE requirements, the report will also reflect on progress/completion of those requirements as well, based on DP1/DP2 timelines (for example, Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity, Service).
To have access to these documents, please make sure you have an activated account on Alma and Managebac. Should you have difficulties in accessing your child/children’s reports, please contact our administrative team.
