Course Description:
This course is a study of Ancient World History, beginning with ancient Greece and continuing through global exploration. Students will be exposed to historic events shaped by geography, social, cultural, economic, and political factors. Students will have the opportunity to make connections of how ideas and events from the past have shaped the world today.

Prerequisites for Course: 7th Grade World History
Course Description: This course will examine the history of the United States from 1492 to 1877. Understanding how these events have shaped our Nation is the purpose of this course. This course will examine the following units: European exploration and Colonization of North America, Revolutionary period and governing the New Nation, Early Presidential Administrations, Social and Economic developments in the 1800, Westward Expansion and Growing Sectionalism, and the Civil War Era.
