Welcome to Bermuda Bounty! We are so excited for you to join us in playing our game. Playing time is normally about an hour, and can span to two hours in length. We hope you enjoy. This game was created in Fall, 2020 in John Sangster's GE1501 by Sophia Wang, Marty Sullaway, Samir Tandon, and Rayan Yedaly.
In Bermuda Bounty, players get to engage in the fun, and stress of managing all of their resources as they engage as a pirate through conflict as if they were in the Bermuda Triangle. A player wins the game by eliminating all the other players, or by acquiring seven or more chests of treasure.
The game can be played with as few as two players, or as many as four. Each player needs their own Arduino controller. We suggest three-four players for optimal enjoyment. Bermuda Bounty is a complex game, be prepared to be challenged and engage yourself in a struggle for victory! Plan for thirty minutes to set up, and build the game.
The instructions provided go into detail about how to play the game using Arduino. All gameplay will be done through Arduino using 4 buttons (red, blue, green, and yellow). Depending on what the player is doing on their turn, the buttons will have different functions. The directions give specific a detailed explanation of what these functions are depending on the scenario but players can also base themselves of the LCD screen on the Arduino setup that which shows what each button does ( G for Green, Y for yellow, R for Red, and B for Blue).
Enjoy!
