NCHS Community Service Information
North Clay students have a Community Service requirement of 30 hours , 10 of which must be completed during their senior year in order to fulfill the graduation requirement.
All student service hour forms must be turned in
To the Guidance Office Community Service Binder for review in Mrs. Romack's office.
During the semester the service work was completed. Summer service work should be turned in during the Fall semester.
Work completed and not turned in during the correct time frame will not be accepted.
Community Service Level Requirements - Starting with the Class of 2028.
The following requirements categorize a student's community service hours.
Level 1- School
Students will be allowed to earn up to 10 hours in this level. Some activities at this level could include assisting teachers before or after school, helping set up/take down for sporting events/Christmas Programs/Banquets, and assisting in parking during events with school officials.
Level 2- Family and Friends
Students will be allowed to earn up to 10 hours at this level. Some activities at this level include assistance to family members or friends. Examples: non-paid babysitting, shoveling snow, raking leaves, mowing
Level 3- Community
Students will be required to earn at least 10 hours at this level. Students are allowed to earn all 30 hours at this level. Activities at this level include specific activities that benefit an individual or particular community organization. Examples: non-paid tutoring, community betterment, walking animals at the animal shelter, volunteering through 4-H making improvements to the fairgrounds, rotary interact activities
