North Clay Students, Parents and Families,

I want to follow up with everyone about the announcement from Thursday, May 2, regarding the closing of campus during the lunch hour.  After an investigation with the Clay County Sheriff's Department, we were able to determine, and communicate with, the source of the individuals connected to the incidents with NC students.  Steps have been taken to help prevent any such future interactions.  Therefore, campus will be reopened starting on Monday, May 6, for junior and senior students to be able to walk off campus during their lunch hour.  Thank you to the Clay County Sheriff's Department for their swift response and efforts in this situation.  Students are reminded to continue to always make smart choices during the lunch hours.  This includes staying with other students and reporting any odd or suspicious behavior to the appropriate authorities.  Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we worked to resolve these concerns.
