Our Valentine’s Day celebration will take place on Friday, February 16th from 1:15-2:00 p.m.

In preparation for that day, students are able to bring paper valentines for their classmates.  To make the process a little easier, we ask that students do not address the valentines but only fill in the “from” section with their own name.  Please make sure they bring one for each student in the class.

**No valentine boxes will be needed.  We will be making valentine bags in class that day that will hold their valentines.  We are providing the white paper bags.

*If any parents would like to donate stickers or markers to decorate them, we would really appreciate it. Thank you so much!

These videos is helpful for parents to watch so that you can see how it is being taught during class.  We will cover this concept this week and next!  Please let your child's teacher know if you have any questions.

Science:

This week in Science, we will begin exploring rocks and minerals, get to create a "rock" of our own, and end our unit over earth and space. We are encouraging students to bring 3-5 rocks to class while we explore. We will have a CBA over earth & space NEXT week on Tuesday covering this unit as a whole. Please feel free to study with your kiddos at home using the Kahoot linked below. We will be reviewing in class.
