MAP Testing

We will take our middle-of-year MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) tests on Thursday and Tuesday.  Second grade students will take the Reading MAP test on Thursday, January 11th and the Math MAP test on Tuesday, January 16th. MAP Growth is designed to measure how well a student is learning critical skills. It gives teachers detailed, actionable information they can use to guide instruction and better support students. It measures progress over the school year and across school years in Math and Reading. You can help your child prepare by making sure they get a good night’s sleep the night before and they eat breakfast to fuel their bodies that morning. If your child is absent on the testing day, they will be making up the test when they return to school.
