In the first week of the term, an emergency contact information sheet is distributed to students for completion. Please inform the school of any changes to your address, email, or phone number during the school year to ensure prompt communication.
The school's main form of communication is email. Therefore, we request that you check your email daily to stay up-to-date with school matters. Please keep your email address current with the school office.
It is the responsibility of the parents to provide the school with up-to-date contact information for the Main Office: (053-110-680 Ext. 0 – mainoffice@nis.ac.th).
A student who feels unwell (malaise, vomiting, diarrhea), has a fever (37º+ C) or has an infectious condition should not be sent to school. Parents are requested to notify the school if their child tests positive for any infectious disease such as head lice, influenza, conjunctivitis (pink-eye), measles, chicken pox, or similar illnesses.
If a child becomes ill or is injured at school, parents will be notified immediately by authorized school personnel and will be asked to pick up their child within the hour.
Over-the-counter or prescription medicine must be registered with the school nurse. Our nurses are highly skilled, trained, and licensed, and they can administer medication to younger children with parental approval and a meeting with a member of the student support team. All medicine brought into school must be accompanied by a medical consent form and a physician’s signature.
All health-related matters, including mental health, must be documented on the student’s emergency contact information sheet. These matters include, but are not limited to, food allergies, respiratory conditions, diabetes, ADHD, etc. Any listed conditions are kept confidential and only shared with the appropriate parties.
The purpose of the PTSA is to foster a collaborative relationship between parents, teachers, and students to enhance the educational environment and address issues affecting students' academic and social experiences. It aims to facilitate effective communication between the school and families, ensuring that parents are informed and involved in their children’s education and school activities. Additionally, the PTSA works to create a sense of community within the school by organizing events and activities that bring families, students, and staff together, thereby fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.
Anyone interested in becoming involved, please contact the Main Office at (053-110-680 Ext. 0) or email mainoffice@nis.ac.th.
