Grade 1 Activities
End of Year Grades will be based on Q1-3 grades. If you have concerns about your child's current level of mastery, please reach out to your respective teacher to discuss opportunities in distance learning available for your child to improve his/her End of Year Grade. Please understand there are only a few weeks of instruction left, therefore teachers may have to prioritize specific subject areas to target for your child.
Hi First Graders and Families!
We miss you! Since we have to practice social distancing for now, we have compiled a variety of enrichment activities for you to do at home. All of these activities are optional, but we hope that you take some time everyday to continue learning.
The Learn at Home Engaging Activities packet includes math and literacy skills for the week. You can print it at home from the link provided above or copies are available for pick-up at school if you requested them on the school survey. We also recommend at least 45 minutes of iReady lessons for both reading and math. In addition, we also have a reading challenge sheet, art and movement choice boards, online science and social studies activities, and other technology enrichment to choose from.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us via email or Remind. Don’t forget to send us notes and photos/drawings because we miss you! We would love to hear from you!
See you soon! ;)
