Gifted and Talented Assignments
All distance learning assignments created by NES Faculty are designed to provide learning activities in order to maintain and enrich what has already been taught, and/or introduce new material. While it is highly recommended that students do their best to complete these activities, they will not be held accountable in regards to completion for status on report card grades.

I am so excited to share this video with you. It was shared with me by my aunty and it really touched my heart, and I am sure it will do the same for you. I know some of you are still busy working on your Powtoons video or Glogster posters. But, this inspired me to create another choice board for you if you are looking for other activities. The activities all encourage compassion, appreciation, and gratitude. It also encourages us to “choose kindness”. There are many reasons why you should do so. Kindness can improve your health, make you happy, improve relationships, and much more. But one of the greatest things about choosing kindness is that it is contagious. So spread some kindness in your home and in your community and maybe others will want to do the same. Have your parents take pictures and/or videos on their Seesaw accounts and share them with me. I can then share them with other families if you would like. It’s always nice to see acts of kindness!

Aloha Parents,
I hope that you and your family are doing well despite these challenging times. It is during these times that it is important to make sure that your child is feeling safe and protected. With that said, I will try my best to provide your child with enrichment activities that are stress free, but keeps your child’s mind moving forward. Below you will find assignments that have been started in class as well as additional activities should your child have the extra time. You will also find some student samples, and some work in progress so that you have an idea of what the end product should look like. I will be reaching out to you through email to provide you with usernames and passwords for each account and some additional information.
