The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Research Delivery Network (RDN) Research Site Initiative (RSI) is a scheme to support the establishment and maintenance of infrastructure enabling NHS and Non-NHS organisations to contribute to the delivery of NIHR RDN Portfolio studies, supporting the High Level Objectives (HLOs) and priorities.
The South West Central Regional Research Delivery Network invites applications from organisations (e.g. General Practices/ Dental Practices/Community Pharmacies/Community Providers/Hospices/Care Homes/Public Health organisations/ Mental Health providers) to become part of the RSI scheme.
The funding allocated to each site will depend on a number of factors including list size, previous research activity and recruitment. The amount of funding allocated will determine a sites research target for the year.
We hold an annual RSI event for organisations taking part in the scheme or those interested in applying next year. At the event you will hear from a range of speakers from study teams, research-active sites, the RDN team, universities and other research focussed organisations, as well as workshops, networking and information stands.
Invitations to apply for single site or collaborative funding are sent each year in March to all sites that we are in contact with in the South West Central region. If you would like to apply for the RSI scheme and think we may not have your organisation's information, please email us.
