Part of the Research Delivery Network (RDN) Primary Care Research Informatics and Digital Environment Solutions (PRIDES) Service, developed for sharing of health informatics and digital solutions to help enable research delivery. Here you will find information and search files for studies active in primary care settings that are currently supported by the agile research delivery team.
Search files and other IT resources are produced and hosted here for studies we are the national lead for, with links to those developed and maintained by other Regional Research Delivery Networks (RRDNs).
We welcome contact from other RRDNs and Research Teams and are happy to share the resources available on this site. We would be grateful if you could contact us if you are using our resources and provide feedback. For more information about PRIDES please visit the RDN PRIDES Website.
All of our currently supported primary care sites work with 2 IT systems; EMIS Web and SystmOne. To undertake research, each site must use their system to search for prospective participants among their patients.
Working with study teams and other RRDNs, the agile research delivery team aims to maintain a resource of search files and associated information for our primary care partners. In the case of studies that we are the lead network for, this includes the development and distribution of said files, both inside and outside the locality, with the following goals:
Make searches easily available to sites to reduce administrative burden
Raise recruitment by collaborating to improve search quality e.g. through better use of clinical codes
Make the process of research more transparent and accessible to our primary care partners
Every effort is made to keep the search files hosted on this website maintained and up -to-date. However, it is the responsibility of the local Investigator to review the search and make any practice specific amendments as deemed necessary.
Please DO NOT mail out to patients until you have confirmation from the study team.
