Open studies

We support studies that are on to the National Institute of Health Research Clinical Research Network (NIHR CRN) Portfolio. To qualify for inclusion onto the Portfolio, studies are required to fulfil specific research criteria. All studies undergo a rigorous process to gain research governance and full ethical approval.

The portfolio of studies available in primary care covers a wide range of topics and crosses over specialties. There are varying levels of involvement that studies require from primary care organisations. This can range from face-to-face recruitment of patients during clinical consultations to more administrative tasks, such as database searches and mailing out patient invites.

NIHR non-commercial/academic studies qualify for service support costs to cover staff time and involvement in research.

If you are interested in any of these studies, please complete an expression of interest form and we will be in contact.
