.......to Research Training

In 2017, in response to forthcoming changes in UK policy, the NIHR RDN Workforce, Learning & Organisational Development Team collaborated with stakeholders such as the MHRA to create the Delegation and Training Decision Aid with accompanying website. This is now incorporated into a NIHR Learn module launched Summer 2021.

On a regional/local level, the workforce team for NIHR NW RRDN have created some supporting materials to explain what our approach or our offer as research training provider will look like.

The schema (below left) describes how our current approach to supporting Sponsors & Employers, depending on the person's role and potential impact they could have on the study protocol if not trained appropriately. The slideset (below right) describes our current plans for each level in more detail.
