About Us
The Agile Research Delivery Team (ARDT) is dedicated to supporting the delivery of research across the East Midlands. Our aim is to increase opportunities for individuals to participate in research, generating new evidence to help reduce health and social inequalities and improving wellbeing for everyone across the region.
We have an experienced team of Clinical Research Nurses, Practitioners and Midwives available to provide support all the way from training before you've signed up to any studies, through to study setup and recruitment, follow ups and the final processing of data for the study team.

The ARDT has a dedicated form. You can use this to request either general mentoring or specific study support, and you will still have the opportunity to discuss your request with team members from either Primary Care or the ARDT.

The ARDT is able to provide training and mentoring sessions to sites and staff new to research. They can provide you with the skills and confidence to take your next steps towards delivering research.
Study Support

The ARDT can support with study set-up, SQV/SIV visits, study training, patient consent, a range of clinical activties and follow ups. For a comprehensive list see ARDT Capabilities.
Guidance on usage: The ARDT is primarily designed to support practices with less experience delivering research. Requests will be considered from more experienced sites however under the following circumstances:
The support is to cover an unexpected absence from a member of staff working on the study. This can be at any stage of the study, but the support will only be for an appropriate, temporary period of time.
The study design contains elements or complexities that the site is unfamiliar with.
The support is for a commercial trial and your site is new or has limited experience with conducting commercial trials previously.
We would encourage you to discuss your support request with your allocated contact within the Primary Care Team, in advance of submission.
