X-ray microCT Image Analysis Workstation

The Okazaki campus (National Institute for Basic Biology, National Institute for Physiological Sciences, and Exploratory Research Center on Life and Living Systems) has a variety of microscopes and imaging equipment. This page lists the microscopes mainly in the Optics and Imaging Facility. At the end of this page, we also provide a list of shared microscopes managed by other laboratories and facilities. If you want to use these microscopes, please contact us first.

1. Multifunctional super-resolution confocal fluorescence microscope

  Leica STED 3X FALCON 

 (Equipment for cooperative studies in ExCELLS: Exploratory Research Center on Life and Living System)

This multifunctional confocal microscope enables super-resolution, fluorescence lifetime measurement, and fluorescence correlation microscopy.
