Upcoming Important Dates:
November 18th & 21st - Mobile Dentist
November 22nd - Incentive Award Day (students who met the I-ready goal will be able to wear their pajamas to school)
November 23rd - 27th - Thanksgiving Break; classes resume on November 28th.
November 30th - Midterms sent home for those students with Ds and Fs
December 1st - Remote learning day

Good Things are Happening at the Elementary/Middle School!
Chromebook Charger Cords - Please make sure to help your student be responsible for their charger cords. If your student loses their charger cord a $40.00 fee will be assessed.
Light up for Literacy- Thank you to all of the families that came out for Literacy Night. We hope you had fun and learned a little bit about building foundational literacy skills. Huge thank you to all staff members that worked so hard to make this event happen.
Parent Survey - As a school and district we are prioritizing family engagement and ensuring all parents/families have a voice within our schools. At the Elementary/Middle School we are working on building student leadership through the Leader In Me program. We would love to have your input regarding our school. Word of the Week: In the morning announcements students are introduced to the word of the week. We are listening for students to use this word throughout the day in the proper context. Students who use this word correctly receive a ticket for a special prize drawing on Friday afternoon. The word for the week of November 21st through December 4th is gist : definition - the basic meaning of something said or written
Recess: Please send your students or students to school with hats, gloves and a warm coat each day. Whenever possible, we do try to take our students outside during recess.
Leader of the Month- Students who earned student of the Month for October and November will be having breakfast with the Principals on December 2nd.
