Sideways Stories from the Wayside School: Thank you to everyone who is supporting their student with reading each night. Our kids are doing a great job answering the morning trivia question. We would love for you to share pictures of you and your student reading together. Please email any pictures to wittl@nfschools.org or send with your child to school. These will be used to decorate our building.
IReady Incentive- In the month of October, students passing 8 lessons in ELA and 8 in Math will get to participate in a root beer float party. Students in Kindergarten are working towards passing 3 lessons in each. Any house that has 90% of the students earning the incentive will receive 10 points for their house; houses with 75% of students earning the incentive will earn 7 points and any house having 60% of students earning the incentive will earn 5 points.
Backpack Program: In conjunction with our local Kiwanis, we are happy to announce that we will again be able to provide goody bags to some students a couple of times a month. If you are interested in receiving one of these bags, please complete and return the attached form.
