Week ending
Friday 20th October, 2023
Dear Families,
This week we have continued learning about transport and how we can travel in the air. We have loved exploring aeroplanes, hot air balloons and helicopters through creative and construction activities. We have also recalled our previous learning about transport on land and water and are very proud of what we remember!
As the week comes to a close, we would like to reflect on how well all children have done during this first half term of the academic year. The children are settled, happy and so enthusiastic to learn which is wonderful for us to see. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and flexibility during this first half term whilst the children have settled in.
We hope you have a happy and relaxing half term break, and look forward to welcoming you all back on Monday 30th October 2023.
Best wishes from the Nursery Team

Where does a helicopter travel?
What do you call someone who drives a plane or helicopter?
Our Maths Learning this week
This week we have continued our learning on size. We read Goldilocks and the three bears and ordered teddies, bowls and chairs.
Activities to try at home this weekend
Our first topic when we return is Autumn.
We would love for you to get outdoors and go on a nature hunt around your local park to see what treasures you can find!
Bring your treasures into school and tell us about your hunt.
