Welcome!
This is my eleventh year teaching at New Horizons School. In my time here, I have taught grades 1, 5, and 6. This year, I will be splitting my time between grade 6 and junior high. In grades 7-9, I will be teaching Math 7, LECA (Language Exploration and Cultural Appreciation) 7, Social Issues 8, and ALPS 7-9 (formerly IPP). I am also the school's Learning Support Teacher, providing enrichment and gifted education support for the staff and student body.
Assignments, upcoming assessments, and due dates can be found on Google Classroom. Grades, when available, can be found on PowerSchool.
Each month, an update will be posted for each class. Please go to the class-specific pages (linked below) to view.
Email is the most effective method of communication. If communicating something time-sensitive (ie: change in pick-up), please call the school at 780-416-2353.
