Monthly Update - December
We have completed our Mid-Quiz in Mix and Flow of Matter and will finish the unit before the holiday break. Just before the break we'll be working on a hydraulic / pneumatic construction project.
Assessment
A typical Unit’s assessment will consist of unmarked “Quick Quizzes” designed to determine student understanding before formal assessment. Each Unit will also include a Mid-Quiz and a Final Exam that will count towards final marks.
Grades in Science are cumulative and continuously build as the year progresses. Each report card mark will be a reflection of the entire year’s performance.

Unit Exams and Mid-Quizzes 75 %
Projects and Lab Reports 10 %
Year End Final Exam 15 %
